AC Adapters
Some PocketWizard radios can be powered via an external power supply instead of AA batteries. Not all radios work with the same power supplies. It's important to identify the exact model radio you have to find the appropriate power supply. FCC (344Mhz) PocketWizards are mainly distributed in the US and Canada while CE (433Mhz) models are sold in most other countries.  FCC and CE MultiMAXes with the 4 pin ACC port can be powered via the PW-AC-USB power supply. They cannot be powered via the ACC port. |

FCC MultiMAXes with 4-pin ACC ports (serial numbers 5578506-5578569, 5578601-5578900, and 5579001 and higher) can be powered via USB and work with the PW-AC-USB adapter. These radios cannot be powered via their ACC port. You can verify that your MultiMAX will work with this AC adapter by checking the serial number located inside the battery compartment.

NOTE: When using this adapter, you must install batteries in the MultiMAX unit.
